Services
Amity Farms is a full service facility, with flexible options to meet the requirements of individual clients and horses. For more information on specific services, please see the appropriate sections below.
Boarding & Horse Care
We believe that the best way for us to keep your horse healthy, sound, and in top condition, horses and riders are encouraged to participate in a weekly lesson or monthly training program. Stalls are cleaned daily. The horses are fed quality Timothy/Orchard/Alfalfa mix hay two times a day. Grain is also fed 2-3 times per day depending on the nutritional requirements of the horse. Supplements (provided by owner) also fed at no additional cost. Other services are available at an additional cost; fan fee (summer), blanketing fee (winter), individual turnout, etc. Daily board is also available for clients wishing to come in for a few lessons before a show or just wanting to improve their skills.
Training & Lessons
Amity Farms offers several training packages to accommodate the needs of each horse and rider. Our training starts as early as ground-breaking a young horse not yet under saddle, and continues on through to bringing a horse up through the levels. The same applies to riders. We start riders from the ground up -- teaching them how to groom and tack up, making sure that their solid basics and horsemanship are established. We will also fine tune the upper level riders, making sure that they stay at the top of their game.
Competition
Coaching for outside students is also available. Please see our show calendar for the current schedule. Please be advised that the schedule may change, so please make sure to contact us prior to the event's closing date if you would like coaching. Schooling dates will also be added as time permits, dates and locations will be added to the calendar.
